Content of the online offer

The operator accepts no liability whatsoever for the currency, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Claims for liability against the operator relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information offered or by the use of incorrect and incomplete information are fundamentally excluded, unless the operator can be proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

The open-port results shown serve exclusively for educational and informational purposes. Port states are highly dynamic: a host may answer differently on the next attempt, a firewall may drop packets so that a port looks closed although it listens behind a filter, and a service may have been reconfigured in the meantime. A successful TCP handshake proves only that something accepted a connection on that port at that moment, nothing more. All contents are without engagement and non-binding; the operator reserves the right to change, supplement, delete or temporarily or permanently discontinue parts of the application or the entire offering without separate notice.

References and links

For direct or indirect references to external websites ("hyperlinks") that lie outside the operator's area of responsibility, liability would only apply if the operator had knowledge of the contents and it was technically possible and reasonable for the operator to prevent use in the case of illegal contents. The operator hereby expressly declares that no illegal content was recognisable on the linked pages at the time the link was set. The operator has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, the contents or the authorship of the linked pages. For illegal, incorrect or incomplete contents and for damage arising from the use or non-use of information on the linked pages, only the respective provider of the page linked to is liable.

Copyright

The texts, software and design elements used in the application are subject to copyright. Unless expressly permitted by the operator, the content may not be reproduced, distributed or made publicly accessible without the operator's written consent.

Data processing

The application does not build profiles and stores nothing about you beyond an anonymous page counter. Your IP address is the only data transmitted to this server, and only for the duration of the scan you started: the TCP connections to the target host are opened from the webhost, never from your browser, because a browser cannot probe raw TCP ports. No cookies are set by the scanner itself. Please note that the operator of this site necessarily sees the connection data of your request in the web server log.

Acceptable use

Port scanning is a dual-use technique. Use this tool only on hosts you own or have written permission to test, and keep the volume low. Scans deliberately consume the target’s capacity, automated scans may trip intrusion detection and lock you out, and unauthorised scanning is illegal in many jurisdictions regardless of intent. The scanner refuses private, loopback and link-local targets, but it cannot know whether an arbitrary public address belongs to you. Excessive or automated use is rate limited and may be blocked.
